Lab X: The Green Code
Three floors, three safes and a countdown: a one-hour indoor escape game on your team's phones.
About
Dr. Lam vanished hours before unveiling his Green Energy formula, and his lab’s self-destruct countdown has already started. Your teams are agents sent in to recover the formula before it is lost for good.
The mission runs on GoQuest, TeamTika’s team game app, with each team on a phone or tablet. Three floors stand in the way: the Control Room, the Vault Corridor and the Energy Core. The 12 tasks are classic escape room puzzles, binary screens, a Caesar cipher, a Morse signal, a three-digit safe and the noble gases, plus an action-movie agent photo and an urgent news bulletin.
The leaderboard runs live on the big screen. At the core, teams cool the reactor, pass the identity check and shout the abort command together.
It brings escape room energy to any meeting room, with no props or build time needed.
Learning outcomes
Each safe needs a different way of thinking, so teams naturally split into code breakers, number people and checkers, then bring it together before answering once.
The countdown adds real time pressure, which shows teams how they communicate when every minute counts.
The news bulletin task asks teams to summarise what they know in 30 seconds, a quick lesson in clear, concise reporting.
The shouted abort command at the end is a fun, unifying finish that every team remembers.

1. Floor 1: Control Room
Agents read the briefing, convert the binary screen, answer the security question and pose for their ID photo.

2. Floor 2: Vault Corridor
Agents open three safes with a Caesar cipher, a Morse signal and a three-digit code, then assemble the formula.

Agents cool the core, pass the identity check, record a news bulletin and shout the abort command.

The formula is safe: teams gather for the final leaderboard.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can take part?
We run up to 30 teams per event, each playing on its own phone or tablet. Players join in the phone browser with a game code, so there is nothing to install. Tell us your headcount and we will suggest team sizes.
How long does the program take?
About an hour of play, plus a short briefing at the start and the leaderboard reveal at the end.
Do we need a real escape room?
No. All the puzzles are on the app, so any meeting room or hotel function room works, with nothing to build or reset.
Can this be run indoors or outdoors?
Both. The tasks only need the app and things found nearby, so it works in a meeting room, a hotel ballroom, a resort or a garden.
Is the game available in Vietnamese?
Yes. Lab X: The Green Code has full English and Vietnamese versions, and we set the language for each event.
