The Christmas Eve Mystery
The lights go out and Santa's sack is gone: a Christmas detective game for the party table.

About
On Christmas Eve the party is in full swing when the lights suddenly go out. When they come back on, Santa’s gift sack has vanished. Each party table is a detective team on the case.
The investigation runs on GoQuest, TeamTika’s team game app, with each table sharing a phone or tablet. Five rounds follow the clues: the Sparkling Tree, the Fireplace and Stockings, the Christmas Feast, the Snowy Yard and Christmas Midnight. There are 15 multiple-choice questions on Christmas traditions around the world and 5 quick-maths questions, plus 5 activities including a human Christmas tree, a toast and a table snowman.
The leaderboard runs live on the big screen until the church bells strike midnight and the sack is found.
It brings a light detective story to Christmas parties and year-end dinners.
Learning outcomes
Every question can be answered only once, and a wrong answer shows the right one straight away. Tables quickly learn to pool what everyone knows and agree before they tap, a small, fun lesson in deciding together.
Multiple-choice questions come in easy, medium and hard, and the number questions ask for quick mental maths, so tables share the thinking between the quiz fans and the number people.
The five table activities, photos, songs and short videos, get the whole table laughing between courses and give quieter guests an easy way in.
Guests leave knowing more about Christmas traditions around the world, with a shared story from the evening.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can take part?
Each party table plays as one team on a shared phone or tablet, with up to 30 tables per event. Players join in the phone browser with a game code, so there is nothing to install.
How long does the program take?
About an hour of play, plus a short briefing at the start and the leaderboard reveal at the end.
Is there a real culprit to find?
The mystery is a light story that ties the rounds together. The fun is in the questions and table activities, and the sack is found at midnight.
Do guests need to leave their tables?
No. Every question and activity is played right at the party table, so the game fits neatly between dinner courses and stage performances.
Is the game available in Vietnamese?
Yes. The Christmas Eve Mystery has full English and Vietnamese versions, and we set the language for each event.
