Atlantis: The Lost City
Follow the light to the bottom of the sea and bring a legendary city back to life.
About
A strange light signal is pulsing from the bottom of the ocean, right where legend places the lost city of Atlantis. Your teams are the crew of a research submarine sent down to find out what is calling.
The dive runs on GoQuest, TeamTika’s team game app, with each team on its own phone or tablet. Five zones lead the way down: the Research Submarine, the Glowing Deep Reef, the Gates of Atlantis, the Temple of Poseidon and the Crystal Core. Along the way teams crack a light code, read binary lamps, answer questions about Plato and Greek myth, and act out dives, human waves and glowing sea creatures.
Points land on a live leaderboard on the big screen. In the final zone, teams charge the fading crystal core, solve the last riddle and record wishes for the year ahead as Atlantis lights up again.
It suits year-end parties and indoor events especially well: a sense of wonder, a clear goal and every person on the team pulling in the same direction.
Learning outcomes
The Gates of Atlantis only open to teams that spot patterns: numbers that turn into letters, lights that turn into a binary code. Teams learn to slow down, test an idea together and only then commit, because each answer can be sent only once.
With 25 tasks spread over five zones, no one can carry the team alone. Groups quickly share the work between puzzle solvers, number crunchers and performers, which is delegation in its most natural form.
The spoken, filmed and photographed tasks need everybody in the frame and in sync. A human wave or a shouted spell only works when the whole team times it together.
The closing wishes for the crystal core give the game a warm ending and a moment for colleagues to say what they hope for next.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can take part?
We run up to 30 teams per event, each playing on its own phone or tablet. Players join in the phone browser with a game code, so there is nothing to install. Tell us your headcount and we will suggest team sizes.
How long does the program take?
About two hours of play, plus a short briefing at the start and the leaderboard reveal at the end.
Is it suitable for a year-end party?
Yes. Atlantis works especially well indoors and at year-end events, and the closing wishes task gives the evening a warm finish.
Can this be run indoors or outdoors?
Both. The tasks only need the app and things found nearby, so it works in a meeting room, a hotel ballroom, a resort or a garden.
Is the game available in Vietnamese?
Yes. Atlantis: The Lost City has full English and Vietnamese versions, and we set the language for each event.
